Network Management (TNM) originated in 1988. It was created
by the International Telecommunication Union for the purpose
of standardizing the creation and classification of
interfaces. The first of its kind, this concept allows
networks to be managed uniformly across all service and
equipment providers. Without such a movement, telecom
expense management would not be what it is today, as it
would be much more difficult to consistently document how
utilize your service networks. Since TNM was introduced, we
